Marcus has a broad commercial disputes practice with significant experience acting on a range of complex and high value cases.
Marcus specialises in commercial litigation before all levels of the English courts, often involving an international element, with a particular focus on civil fraud and asset recovery, company law matters including shareholder and director claims, partnership disputes and arbitral challenges.
Prior to joining Gresham Legal as a Partner, Marcus spent five years as a Director of his own litigation advisory and consulting company acting directly for clients involved in high profile litigation, six years at Enyo Law and four years at Addleshaw Goddard.

Acting for the Province of Balochistan (part of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan) in Commercial Court proceedings concerning an underlying ICC arbitration arising from a US $6bn gold and copper mining dispute in Pakistan with Tethyan Copper Company Pty Limited (an Australian joint venture company owned by Barrick Gold Corporation and Antofagasta Plc). Advising a charitable company limited by guarantee without share capital in respect of a high-profile dispute arising from a breakdown in Member relations.
